Covered Bridge - Jericho Road, Kingsville, MD

Jericho Covered Bridge- This bridge is the last covered bridge standing in Harford County, built in the early 1800's. Legend has it that several lynchings occurred at this bridge during and after the Civil War, in which the captured people were hung from the upper rafters, sometimes many at a time. It is said that if you stop your car on the narrow bridge late at night, and look in your rear view mirror, the image of swinging bodies can be seen.

i would like to know what else people saw/heard when there because me myself have done this many times and i have heard voices. They sound like lots of people like in a crowd talking in deep voices and i also heard a high pitched scream like a girl screaming and i have seen shadowy figures. i also heard that my one friends has put baby powder on the hood of her car and saw footprints appear in it. well if got anything else to share let me know.

ive been to the bridge a couple times as well. the first time it was nothing. the second time. we heard the whole "turn ur car off look in read view mirror and see hangin bodies" well i saw no hangin bodies (maybe cause i had my head in my boyfriends lap) but the car wouldnt start back up. we had the lights off and the car off. and id be damned if i was gonna look ouside the car. so i started to cry n scream we turned on r lights so cars could see us and r car would not start. and ive never had a problem with that car. well needless to say bout 8 mins later the car started and we were outta there. now i didnt look for ne thing...(could u blame me) but i bealive theres something goin on there. i went back there again but in daylight...and i just didnt feel welcome so we left.
